New Orleans hasn't always been far under sea level. When it was founded hundered of years ago, the city was protected fairly well from the sea. The city has sunk and the coast has changed over time. It's no different from the entire nation of Holland or the city of Venice, Italy. And Australians are narrow minded. |

Eh, people die. When we kill ourselves, it goes unnoticed. When people's own stupidity kills them, we must help usher them along.These people lived up to 20' under the sea level. That's just plain stupid. They were told to "MANDATORY EVAC", those that stayed behind were those that were killed. I have no pity for them. None. However, think of other things that we DON'T bring up at this point. People in the phillipines are still getting their lmbs blown off by landmines. Hooray. Not really their fault now, is it? If it were, I would have no sympathy for them either. If the media tells you to feel their pain, you do. If they don't report it, it goes unnoticed. Shame on you all for being ignorant. PS: I too had family near there. but they left when told too. Prognosis? Still alive. |

The ebay thing is an automated ad, it plugs in whatever you type in, search for something completely random enough times (the same thing) and the ebay thing will pop up, simple html, css, or java script, not that hard. it isnt on purpouse. use common sense, ebay is a major corporation, and you wouldnt see walmart, or pizza hut or anyone else doing that sort of thing. it isnt personal. |

c'mon we should be donating money, do you not comprehend the fact they have no food, no water, no shelter. that people are dying a mile a minute. c'mon donate its not hard what else are u gonna spend $25 on, if its not nessecarry, donate. and that ebay thing, c'mon type in anything and those ads on the side will change to what ever you typed in. |
