Saturday, May 28, 2005 11:51:40 AM The eagle would win...It can fly away fast or peck that cat's eyes out. Many cats would freak out anyways. |

Saturday, May 28, 2005 11:46:59 AM You people think just because its walking over to it that they are going to fight? Its just curious. If the picture is real I bet the cat just sniffs around it and it flies away. |

Saturday, May 28, 2005 11:25:01 AM I dunno...I don't think that photo could be real. I mean, an eagle perching on a deck? I've never seen that happen before, and I live near tons of eagles. And if it was real, I don't think the cat would win. It looks like a tame, fattened, somewhat lazy, housecat. And cats almost never attack something that is larger than themselves. The only exception is the lion, who hunts in a pack and can easily bring down a waterbuffalo. Housecats...no way. I bet the cat gave up. I know I would.

Saturday, May 28, 2005 10:22:36 AM Ya know what? I bet the cat wins that fight. Seriously. Cats are so fast...if he can wound the bird's wing then the bird is dead meat...the only way that bird wins is by swooping down and using flight velocity to carve up the cat with it's nails. But sitting still the bird is not nearly as powerful...I'm telling you, the 200 mph flight speed is what makes these birds so deadly as they swoop down. At a standstill, I'd say it's a 50/50 guess as to who would win between that bird and a vicious alley cat. Is that white cat vicious? I don't know. But if it is I say it would win. |
