Friday, May 06, 2005 10:09:56 PM I think I'll just read the book, not see the movie. It might spoil my view of the book. |

Friday, May 06, 2005 7:36:32 PM i hate to admit it, but the movie was great. I didnt think it would be good cause i thought they would flub it up compare to the book, but i relly liked it. That litte robot was so cute if not a tad bit depressing. |

Friday, May 06, 2005 5:13:26 PM The animation and song weren't very good, but it was amusing if you know the joke. |

Friday, May 06, 2005 5:13:22 PM I loved this movie. Especially the free-falling whale. I could just imagine Bill Bailey's face when he was doing that part... one eyebrow raised and a look that tells he's been stoned since the 70's. |

Friday, May 06, 2005 4:31:15 PM I haven't seen the movie yet. And yes, the tune is catchy. I think though, I'll have to wait until it comes out on video to watch it since our pockets are threadbare. |

Friday, May 06, 2005 5:21:21 AM Zaphod's head and Marvin the Tonka toy - that's all I was disappointed by.But hey, it was written by Douglas Adams, he was involved with a lot of the movie (before he died, it's been in production for AGES) and his children were also involved - in fact I think one of the characters is either his daughter or grandaughter. all i can say is, hate the movie if you want and stick to the books, but don't slate Adams' work. |

Friday, May 06, 2005 2:57:44 AM dolphins are funnyi was kinda annoyed at Zaphod's second head being under his chin when i had always pictured it as him having two heads, side by side |

Friday, May 06, 2005 2:38:06 AM I never compare a movie to the book it's based on. There's lots of things you can do in books that you can't do in movies, and it doesn't cost thousands of dollars to write a book. I look at an adapted movie on its own. And on its own this movie was pretty good. |
