I read the entire article.I did not laugh at all, that joke was ridiculously overrated. people. Personally, I was disappointed. I am surrounded by comedy in my life, and that was sad. And it all really depends on the persons type of humour, right? Shall it be original, ethnic, corny, crude, poking fun at others, etcetera. |

Yes it was amusing...but the worldsunniest joke hm.
i mean yes it got a slight "HA!" from me, but it wasnt even technically a laugh...whatsoever.

ok wow there is finaly a joke that doesnt revolve around politiks! I am one happy person cuz i am so sick of political cr@p! anyway the joke was not funny but at least it wasnt one that you would rather die than to lissn to. |

how is that funny, beause he shoots her! c'mon there is enough spocial abuse as is! not funny at all. my god if thats the funniest joke there is, then americans are becoming dumber by the minute. hence another reason to focus on education. |

The article was interesting. I dont think the point was to see if any of you have heard this joke. Or to see if you have any better ones. The whole point of the article is that different cultures/age groups/sexes prefer different humor. But this one particular joke was one that all the subjects in the test group found funny. |

The last word; it read, "The world’s funniest joke was unveiled by scientists today" Well what the heck do most scientists know about humor any way? There justa buncha egg heads. The worlds funniest joke is; A three legged dog walks into a saloon & says "I'm lookin' for the man who shot my paw." Well... Mabey... :+) |

I have about 10 real good jokes that I have told in many a situation and people have wet themselves with laughter. I told these to some Americans and Canadians when I went traveling and they only found like 3 of them funny. Half of them they didn't get (Though they are straightforwards enough) and only a couple hit the spot but these are tried and tested winners here. Also one of them caused outrage because it 'wasn't politically correct' yet no one has ever told me that here. Its all a mystery why we find some things funny and others, like the worlds funniest joke, as funny as a toothache. |
