Just like the meat industry here in the US. There are only like four major slaughterhouses but when you go to your market you have a huge selection, but at the end is like four companies you bought the stuff from. When you guys get to college, if you are not already there, take business ethics, you learn all these random things about evil corporations and all that good stuff. MSMOJO, that is very true, if you look at our military planes most of the engines for planes are made by GE =) . |

"that was pretty lame i gotta say. most of it was probably made up."None of it was made up. All the basic channels like ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox are owned by huge corporations. These are facts that are very easy to verify, and are pretty well known amongst people who care about it.
Just think of how easy it is for a company like GE to make NBC help form the public's view on a cause like... let's sayyy a war. So, a lot of people think it's a good idea, and support the government in starting one. And so once a war starts, guess who reaps the benefits? GE, who has many arms, ammunition, and plane-making companies. It's funny that they call it a 'theory', because it's a highly-practiced occurence in politics and business. |

They usually edit re-runs because they run in shorter time slots (1 hour instead of 1.5 hours). Obviously people watching the original episode had the same reaction I did... boredom. So they took that particular skit out. |
