Tuesday, May 03, 2005 4:38:42 PM Look I would laugh whether she was Canadian, American, English, Timbucktoo-ian(?) The only God Save The Queen I know is by the Sex Pistols. the Only Star Spangled Banner I know is Jimi Hendrix. 10/10 to this girl for effort. It's an unfortunate event, but still side splitting. P.S I bin to Canada and It's a fantastic country. Having met both american and canadian people, I'd sooner co-habit with someone north of the border |

Monday, May 02, 2005 3:18:07 AM I'm British and I dont know the full "God Save The Queen" national anthem either! Plus its awful, I dont care about the queen, our national anthem should be 'Rule Britannia'. I dont know the American national anthem either, although oddly I know all the words to the Canadian one thanks to Terrence and Philip, lol. |

Sunday, May 01, 2005 1:50:47 AM "I think some people want to bring back the American /Canadian booing and jeering that happened last year if anybody still remebers that"Actually, Americans don't really give two craps about Canada in that respect. |

Sunday, May 01, 2005 1:23:03 AM I don't really feel bad for this canadian girl. I feel worse when i see Americans not knowing the lyrics. |

Saturday, April 30, 2005 6:35:06 PM Yeash all the americans in this thread are horible , she screwed up big freaking deal. Whats really sad was that this made NATIONAL television in the states , and in Canada there was a small note made of it. I think some people want to bring back the American /Canadian booing and jeering that happened last year if anybody still remebers that. |

Saturday, April 30, 2005 5:11:24 PM Moral of the story: make sure that the person singing is from the same country as the national anthem being sung. (although I have seen Americans screw up the national anthem as well...) |

Saturday, April 30, 2005 4:17:57 PM I don't even know the lyrics to God Save the Queen (yes im british and gimme a break the full version has about 7 versus not just 2), let alone the American National Anthem. Tres harsh for the girl. |

Saturday, April 30, 2005 4:13:52 PM She probably learned it too, osprey, but it's kind of hard with pressure and all these people booing at you. She did have guts, though. |

Saturday, April 30, 2005 4:11:05 PM I don't know the lyrics to O Canada, but I sure as hell would have learned before trying to sing it at a hockey game. |
