I'm with Ollie on this one. Cinemas are waaaay too expensive. We have a standard cinema and then we also have a `gold class` or `premiere` cinema with reclining chairs, fancy food that get delivered to you at set times in the movie and a price tag that sets off a heart attack. I think it was about $40 last time i went. and about $20 for the standard. That`s all without food or drink.

Actually, I like sitting way up front in the first row because no one is ever around you and the movie then fills your entire field of vision. Love that.

This is one reason I go to the Alamo Draft house (if you don't have one near you... sorry). They have assigned seating, a no tolerance policy for talkers and phones, `baby day` showings for families with kids, and are classified as a `bar` so that no unaccompanied minors are allowed.

Is this a cultural thing or just exaggerated for comedy? I have as far as I can remember never had any of these issues when going to the movies.

The reason I buy popcorn at the movies is so I can ping it at people who are being annoying.

But why do they have to put the popcorn in bags that rustle so bloody loudly?
