Trial by combat used to be part of the justice system. Perhaps the judge was just being very traditional :)

The lawyer could reasonably argue that he interpreted the judge's word "fight" as "argue" or "discuss," then was criminally assaulted by the judge. A run-of-the-mill invitation to the back chambers escalated into a fierce beating. I`ll bet he will sue for physical injury, psychological injury, punitive damages, and defamation to his professional career. This might net the lawyer millions. I hope it does, and they take that judge`s house away, because that judge is a jackass.

If a judge tells you to sit the f*** down and shut the f*** up, you had better sit the f*** down and shut the f*** up. Usually the bailiff will make you sit the f*** down and shut the f*** up. It must have been his day off.

Ooo, the lawyer refused to "waive" various motions, which would have sped up the trial. I guess he's hoping for reduced charges or dismissal?

Meanwhile, that Judge has issues! What a fiasco.

If it's mutual? Why face charges? Fighting in public I suppose, but no sort of `assault`.

Meanwhile, there`s a longer version of this in the suggestions screen, I`ll give it a look-see.

Also: I presume the Judge won, lolz! People were clapping.
