durdikkimeng: I don't think coloring these photos detracts from them. Quite the contrary, they become instantly easier to see clearly, and are a step closer to our reality. When I see rare color footage of WW2, it is the same thing: somehow less remote and more real. A B+W image is immediately and obviously an old image from another time. And no one`s destroying the originals, so get off your high horse.
