CodeJockey, good for young filmmakers who use black-&-white for WHATEVER reason. Indy movies like "Chan Is Missing" and "Stranger Than Paradise" were made for peanuts, but they benefitted from the B&W vibe.

The edge of the modern indie that says "I was trying to make it look gitty" when it really means "I wanted to shoot on real film in color but, didn't have enough money to buy film stock so, because I`m so cheap, I ended up with this sh*tty, grainy film and everyone mistook the completely accidental end result for brilliance..."
