Really tolerance? So when they protested the guy who was made CEO of Mozilla, just because he disagrees with you that's ok? So, who is the intolerant ones again? That said, there is no reason to be hateful towards alternative lifestyles. Why can`t people simply agree to disagree and move on? But here, this comes off as preachy and elitist on top of something that is already preachy and elitist. I mean really, you are making an agenda with graham crackers!

@broizfam and @LordJim, I think that you're both correct, too. In my reply to @onoffonoffon, I just wanted to agree that tolerance at least means not actively going after someone, not actively discriminating, and, given how things often are, that`s progress.

But certainly, if the person doing the "tolerating" is in a position of power (either by force or vote or law), then it truly is not enough, and for the reasons you list. Fortunately, those who aren`t tolerant in this particular case, are less and less in a position of power (via vote, force, law, etc.) in those ways. And that`s a good thing.
