Great post!

No fan of Putin but Ukraine should remain allied with Russia for its own good for a fee more years. Atleast till alternative energy source is secured.

Europeans are just after the resources and are likely to manipulate the country to their advantage, economically.

Things will be much harder for a common man without Russian subsidies.

Is this what they call a Russian apologist. I will just remember the crass Putin starting something during the Olympics. To me it looks like when Germany took Austria in the last war. What happens when one of the countries decides to fight. America is inept. With everyone going their own direction. No one wants to identify with a party. Every one sitting the fence not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings. For all of this I just do not see America being a better country. We have so many factions we may as well sit the next 100 years out.

Sorry bro the title is a play on the translation of Ukraine meaning Borderlands, which is what the article is really about, "the" geography.

news flash, subby: "The Ukraine" hasn't existed since 1991 ("The Ukrainian SSR"). The country`s name is "Ukraine", without the "The." You`re not alone in making the error, but, well, stop.
