@elkingo

You are misinformed. Palin claimed Russia would invade the Ukraine AS A RESULT of Obama's ascendancy to president. We laughed because a) Russia`s improvement on the global stage resulting from Putin`s efforts would obviously result in future Russian aggression in some fashion (learn your history, dude), and b) it is asinine to believe Obama would cause it -- which he didn`t, obviously -- which means Palin did NOT predict the REASON, and only managed to make an obvious statement which probably everyone knew already, and which she probably heard from someone else in the first place.

We continue to laugh, by the way, because she is a joke, and no one takes her seriously. Nor should they.

And most of you don't know that Ukrainian language was the only official language of Ukraine for years and years ( until Yanukowych passed RU as official about 2 yrs ago) Having Ukrainian Language as official did a lot of good in Ukraine as you can see - 6 Ukrainian publications vs 252 Russian. The west does not understand and will never grasp the fact that it is Ukrainian language that is dying and needs special protection.

One more thing:

Russian language is not going away in Ukraine (nor Russia) and does not need protection, but Ukrainian language definitely is

@pedo-bear "look at what Official Russian statements have been and compare them to their actions. They have called for a Referendum and a vote. They have called for USA EU etc to be involved. They want more representation for Eastern Regions in the "Interim Government"

LMAO - it is not for Russia to march into a sovereign nation, declare their government illagal and demand a vote. I have no words
