Taiwanese photographer Sim Chang's series Screen Generation poses real models amongst televisions and tablet screens bearing images from hentai, the Japanese style of sexual anime. In doing so, he examines the way people project emotion onto fictional characters, become attracted to and aroused by cartoons, and how imagination can replace reality. So I-A-B Is it Art or fetish? It's weird to see IAB members actually arguing against sexual perversion. Usually, there is a bunch of crap about tolerance for people who want to have sex with anything that moves. I had to double check to see if I was on the right website. It`s kinda nice to see something nearing a mature attitude. Did a new console game just come out and all the weirdos are busy?

LadyMorgue, I agree that they're not. But, a) these girls could easily be 18+, b) it`s not porn in that there`s no sex, no sex acts, and no *implied* sex acts, c) there`s no reason to suspect these girls didn`t shoot the pics themselves, or that they weren`t 100% stoked by the project.
That said, I understand your objection. Hentai and anime, in general, sexualize minor girls. Then gain, however, so do pants that say "juicy" and "hot to trot" or whatever. And I see that all the time on girls way, way too young. So, while these photos may be problematic, they`re more a symptom of a far larger societal issue. And that`s worth discussion, for sure, but these pics aren`t really any worse than any of that stuff, IMHO.
