That really grinds my a$$, too. I think they use "myself" because they think it sounds more sophisticated. Of course, it's simply wrong. Here`s how it goes when I`m there"

-Your "self" will be there?
>No, I`ll be there.
-Then say it that way!

One of my peeves is the use of the word 'myself` instead of just using `me`.
