OCD Anyone? [Pic]

Something is out of place...must fix it.

Must organize the mess.
Everything must be the same size and shape.

Too much confusion, must organize.

Cleanliness...must wash hands.
Counting and odd numbers.

Clean, clean , clean.

You should be annoyed about this. It's an insult to actual sufferers, and it makes it much more difficult for them to actually be taken seriously.

Mmmm some of those things can most definitely be OCD common ones actually depends on the frequency. Hand washing that`s a big one seen it, compulsive cleaning yep seen it, having to sort strange things yep seen that too. Kind of runs in my mothers side of the family including her.

I make a point about there being a lot of people claiming OCD as an affectation, and you quibble over the specific wording I used.

Fine, "none" was incorrect. I should have said "hardly any". Are you happy now?

Do you have anything else to say that isn't pointless prattling about semantics?

"You know everyone here doesn't have it because you`ve somehow done a psych evaluation over the internet. Know it all dickmunch right there."

We have one person, Pinkminx22, who has described symptoms of actual OCD, and a whole slew of people describing petty annoyances/quirks/anxieties.

So I`d say I`ve been pretty accurate in my statement.

You should be annoyed about this. It`s an insult to actual sufferers, and it makes it much more difficult for them to actually be taken seriously.

And there`s so damn much of it. I`m not fussy, I have OCD. I`m not a sulky teenager, I have depression. I`m not socially inept, I have social anxiety disorder (or, as the latest fads seem to be, awkward or introverted).

All of it is wearing an affectation. It`s disgusting and it needs to stop.

None of these are drating OCD. These are normal compulsions. It's OCD when it`s repeated, obsessive, and disruptive to daily life.

None of you have OCD. Stop trying to pretend to be special with these damn affectations.
