I feel as though you've misinterpreted my post. It was, and is, in direct response to Kaagan`s post. The whole He Man issue. And how that body type was invented by men, for men. And while it might create body issues in men, lets not pretend it`s the same.
As for the actual issue at hand? Honestly I don`t buy into that crap. Everybody`s a person and people are all disgustingly beautiful. End game. We need to teach EVERYBODY this, not one side or the other. So yes Gary, we are fully capable of ignoring it, and we are very harsh to one another, but we didn`t invent those magazines those are usually run by male execs. But yeah, ignore them, stop buying that crap and eventually they will have to change their business plan. Money says more than petitions.

I think Gerry's 100% right. This is not due to male double-standards and gender roles. Look at today`s younger men. They are confused about what their role is in society for the most part. Look and listen; men all around are saying they like less make-up, she`s beautiful "as is" and I wish she would just put her hair in a ponytail/hat and that`s it because she looks great that way. Men are telling you that we aren`t the ones that need that. You are, and it`s to impress other women.
