They will be able to take pictures, its just that they are so close to the surface, moving at such high speeds that it's pointless to do so. Any photograph would just come out streaky and without any discernible features whatsoever. It`s like trying to photograph a painting, while moving past it at 300 km/h at a distance of less than a meter.

NASA can't take pictures because they don`t have the license to cover the Unreal Tournament events.

@Andrew155 - Nothing strange about monoliths on the moon, I'd expect them. We have them on earth, they are old volcanic plugs.
