I think I know why the bull singled out that guy. It's the shirt he`s wearing. People think that bulls hate the color red, but that`s not true. Bulls can`t see the color red, what makes them run towards the matador waving the red cape is the motion of the cape. But, bulls CAN see the colors yellow and blue, so, to the bull, that guy probably stands out more than the rest of the people around him.

Believe it or not, they were discussing starting an annual running of the bulls event at a horserace track here in MN. Then a bull got loose at a county fair and injured a few people and reminded the planners what a hugely stupid idea it was. Of course, it was the potential liability and insurance cost they worried about, not that people could get killed or maimed.

@LordJim, I'll agree with that!. I did see a bullfight in Portugal once, many years ago. They don`t kill the bull there. At the end of the fight they led a bunch of cows into the bullring. When they herded them back out the bull just followed the ladies.Quite cute! The fight itself, though, is still, I`m sure, significantly painful for the animal, and only done for the amusement of a crowd. I understand it may be a matter of national heritage, but it would be nice for such things to end.
