It's one of those things where the line is funny, but the concept behind it isn`t. The pun is funny, but the idea that someone would reduce it to a joke isn`t. It`s a catch 22, damned if you do damned if you don`t

Angilion, "That drink would be disrespectful on Saint Patrick's day, eh? Or Bloody Sunday? One of those days...
It would be particularly disrespectful on any day in which an Irish car bomb went off. Which would be many days of the year. But it would be disrespectful on any day of the year.
Would you have, for example, a drink called an Iraqi IED? On any day of the year?"
Well yeah.. I would. How is it any different than drinking the very old roostertail called a `depth charge`? There were probably enough of the real kind of those over the years to have had some meaning to someone every day of the year.
5 cats, no I wouldn`t find one about an irish ied either disrespectful or humourless and i served there and had a friend killed by one - it is the name of a drink and if anyone finds a name of drink that offensive then really either your priorities are drated up or you`re one of the people that loves to get `offended`.
