This film shows a dog and a wild Fox who have been best friends for a long time. Both shows the joy of each other's company. Both are enjoying what nature offers. Both are in need of freedom and joy.
Why they are treated as different as a species?
Foxes are, like other animals, rely on the freedom to explore, live and play over large areas. Instead, they will be born to a meaningless lives in a narrow wire mesh cages, without the possibility to live a natural life.
What excuse do we have to cause so much suffering for the approximately one million animals every year, only for a needless and preening product?
Show that you do not want to accept this anymore. Show that you care.
That explains the ending. Still? As cute as they are? Fox are just another "domestic animal" like cows or farmed salmon. I do think we should be as kind as possible to them though.
