drawman, we don't have a gold standard. And your list of countries we attacked (together with your own country, mind you) includes Iraq, Afghanistan, and…I guess Serbia?) I don`t really think they are consequential to the global economy.

Informed citizenry would go a long way, but it won`t happen. I think it`s inherently easier for Iceland with 300k people to participate in their government. Apparently their PM is in the phone book.

You mention the term Federal Reserve and people will either have no idea what you`re talking about, or they will label you a conspiracy theorist.
