Like I've been saying you`ve never met this guy obviously.... You should watch out following that type of "code" it could get you following someone blindly who is completely wrong. Civ or Vet there`s no shortage of sh itballs. This guy for example used to go on how he wanted to see some action and get deployed then proceeds to join Air Force reserve....cause well he talks out of his ass. Not that there`s anything wrong with that branch but if he wanted to do what he was talking about I`d have advised Marines cause well they get deployed way more. His excuse "Oh well they get s**t for equipment" Huh?

"I just find it asinine that you (even more so knowing you are a Marine) would make light of something like PTSD associated with war"
Even if he was, and he's explained he wasn`t...servicemen/women the world over have developed rather robust senses of humours and often joke about all sorts of bad poo that others would think were in bad taste. Having a laugh at the pootiest of circumstances is what helps you keep it together. Same as a lot of nurses have the same warped sense of humour about injuries and death.
As for the video posted, I think both were being a bit dickish about it, but the worker shouldn`t be left in charge if she can`t make reasoned decisions or even understand the basic requirements of the offers.

"So did you swear to uphold the Constitution? Yet you believe in upholding a unwritten rule..."
Like I said, you've never been there so there`s no possible way for you to know. Ask any veteran and they`ll say the same, they`ll take the side of a fellow veteran who served honorably regardless of your personal opinion of them, before they take your side.
