The interviewer lost me when she asked more particular questions beyond basic knowledge. Many people wouldn't retain very specific information about any event such as terms or names of camps unless they were self proclaimed experts.

@McG: by isolationist you mean supporting both sides of the war for profit until directly involved?
If that sh*tbrain ensemble spearheaded by Chamberlain had not lead the policy of appeasement and had not betrayed their allies, the war could have been entirely different.
Also, there were far worse atrocities commited during, before and after WWII by all parties, like the Ukrainian famine by the judeo-bolscheviks, rape of Nanking by the Japanese and so much more. The exterminations were targeted at jews, gypsies, slavs, communists, intellectuals and several other groups which deserve at least equal recognition.
