@CrakrJak, When you say $17 trillion, I assume you're talking about this report created by the Republican Budget Committee that has ZERO references which allows anyone to double-check their math or assumptions? What is this number based off of??? Since there`s no source, they might as well have fabricated this number from the ether.

@OldOllie, you`re correct that increased tax rates do not equal increased tax revenues. Mainly because businesses will either (1) move overseas or (2) reduce income to move to a lower tax bracket, increasing their revenue. If you read the ACA, you`d realize that (1) most of the entities that are taxed CAN`T move overseas, and (2) most of the entities that are taxed would reduce their revenue if they reduced their income, even if they moved to a lower tax bracket. Those factors were taken into account.

bliznik, increased tax rates do not equal increased tax revenues. That's been proven time and time again, but if you haven`t figured that out by now, I doubt that anything I can say would convince you.

That`s the problem with liberals. You believe a whole lot of things that simply are not true.

Ollie: Actually the unfunded liability of Obamacare is calculated at $17 Trillion. That figure comes from the Budget Committee analysis of both the CBO and Obama administration's own numbers.

The first ten years will cost $13 Trillion, that`s almost twice what Social Security costs.

"What a pooty way to think the country should be run. Like a toddler: if I don`t like it, waaaaaaaaahhhhhh!"

Obama and Harry Reid are the one`s that cried like spoiled children when the House passed budgets they didn`t like. It`s congress`s legal responsibility to balance the budget, that can`t be done with Obamacare.

It's kind of stupid that the government spends more money when they are "shutdown" (i.e. not supposed to be spending money).

There's OldOllie, trotting out the same old lies. Pure and simple lies. And the irony is that even in lying, you can`t get past the hypocrisy of it being okay to burn money on things the Republicans like, but be totally against it for the things Dems do. What a pooty way to think the country should be run. Like a toddler: if I don`t like it, waaaaaaaaahhhhhh!
