If this is the Salmon river here in northern California, that really explains a lot. Siskiyou county is about as backwards redneck as you can get, in the Golden State. They enjoy a mediocre fame for having tried to create their own state, going back to the 30's. In fact, some of the residents insist that they are citizens of the "sovereign" state of Jefferson. It`s like a piece of the South, right here in NorCal. I`m sure AuburnFlunky and Crakrjackass would feel right at home, if that helps clarify the general mentality of the region. Do a Google news search for Siskiyou county, California and the "state of Jefferson" for some laughs. In the end, their beef is that the rest of the state won`t let them burn, cut and strip mine a large area that spans several counties in northern California and southern Oregon.
if that is the womans house/bussenis on the river, there is a good change part of that river is legaly hers, the law various per country and so i'm not going to say it is. but there is a strong possibility that it is. as mentioned by someone else. salmon fishing spots can be quite expensive. and this is the part i don`t get about americans, you are ready to blow someones head of if they step on your lawn and think it`s perfectly normal to do so. this woman might actualy have a good claim to "defend" her property/bussenis and she is a pschyco bitch who should have been drowned. i mis a certian consistency?

@MrOrange If he wasn't fishing for the woman`s daughter and only for fish (read: he was casting in the water and not her lawn) then the woman who threw the first punch is a nut case. If it was illegal to fish in that river/lake then she should have called the police. If he was fishing for the woman`s daughter and she feared that the daughter was dim enough to grab the lure, well... maybe she shouldn`t have bred.
Furthermore the exact opposite of what you claim has occurred. The 18 year old (mildly) beat that woman`s face BECAUSE she was protecting her business (the business of not having a maniac attack you at the river side), and I`m sure several of us applaud her for it.

i never understand you americans, it's ok to shoot someones face off when they enter your property, (and this can be just walking on a lawn)but it`s a horrible terrible thing to protect your bussenis or rights by punching someone?
