I agree with most everyone that this top 10 list failed and failed hard.
So many of the listed books contained racism (yeah, those were the times all right) and still managed to be anti-racist stories (like LordJim and BoredFrank noted).
Crock-of-poo list, really.

Egads, that one is f*cked up. I don't suggest reading the whole thing, find a synopsis somewhere on the internet and you`ll get my point.

@ak2nc1 books are inanimate objects and cannot 'treat` people and therefore can`t be racist. That was the point I was trying to make.
