Hawking is only famous because of his disability; his ideas are mostly poo. First, Hawking Radiation is a giant load of crap. Virtual particles do not have positive and negative mass as the f***tard narrator says; they have positive and negative CHARGE. When a virtual pair splits, and one of them is trapped at the event horizon while the other escapes, it is just as likely to annihilate an oppositely charged particle from another virtual pair. This releases photonic energy which has mass equivalent of E = mc^2, so the hole GAINS mass. It NEVER loses mass.

Also, there are no singularities at the centers of black holes. Time stops at an event horizon, so it would take an infinite amount of time for a massive particle to reach the event horizon. There is absolutely no way in hell that a particle can ever cross an event horizon and make its way to the center to form a singularity.

BTW, Hawking also happens to be an anti-Semitic bigot.

I marvel at his accomplishments too shag - he makes it look so easy. That's the amazing part.

I already know most of this stuff - but I can't get enough of it for some reason. Learned about black holes in 5th grade, and watched a movie that hypothesized what would happen if you could go through one. Guess the subject never gets old - hey, it`s on the event horizon, right?

My mom has Lou gehrrig's. It is a bitch of a disease. Dealing with it is the hardest thing i have had to do in my life and I am just a caretaker. For hawking to do what he has done, impressive is a significant understatement
