@Kain1: Like @OldOllie said: Obama should have acted at the start, OR kept his nose OUT of it!
Stupid, inflammatory statements with NOTHING to back them up is NOT "good diplomacy" OK?
Obama's "Red Line" quip was an IDIOTIC thing to say, because Obama had nothing but words! While Assad has nothing to lose by "crossing it" and everything to gain.
-In Libya? Outsiders quickly and powerfully moved to back ONE side. (rightly or wrongly is another issue!) -In Syria? Outsiders have backed BOTH sides and done NOTHING for years now! (Again, if this was `good or bad` is a separate issue)
Someone has to hold Obama accountable for his disgraceful actions, since the MSM has abdicated that responsibility...
100,000+ killed with bullets & bombs = OK! 2,000 (apx) killed with chemicals = invasion?

@Kain1 Actually, we should have stayed out of it altogether. Obama blew the chance 2 years ago to help the secular rebels overthrow Asad. Now the rebel movement has been taken over by foreign jihadis aligned with al Qaeda and Hamas.
Obama stepped on his dick with his empty "red line" threats, and he got himself stuck between helping the terrorists or going back on his word and making a joke of himself and the US.
He tried to slough the responsibility off onto congress, but they weren't having any of it. When Obama saw that he was finally going to have to take the responsibility for his own stupidity, he latched onto Putin like a drowning man clutching at straws.
Putin offered to save his worthless, incompetent ass, but at a dear price. Obama had to stay on the sidelines, let Putin take all the credit for saving the world, stop supporting the rebels, and leave Asad in power for the foreseeable future.

You Obama haters are too stupid too actually recognize what diplomacy even looks like anymore. Apparently, it looks a lot like getting boned up the ass by a commie thug.
