drat, where the rest of my post? Anyways, to continue my abbreviated previous post about muslims, I advise: Love the poeple, fight against the religion (Islam that is). If you doubt me, go take a good look at the sate of affairs in muslim countries. Even my Arab Muslim friends in that bastion of relative tolerance and prosperity, Dubai, they hate it and would preffer to live in my city of Athens Greece anyday, even though we are super-broke and poor lately. You know why? Freedom. Humans like to have it, but Islam doesnt provide it.
So before you champions of human rights get your panties in a twist about muslim baiting, realize that we do indeed need to protect ourselves against this religion. Not the 'terrorists` thats mostly bullpoo, but the colonists. Your buddy Abdul may be cool, but their grandchildren will behead our grandchildren. My father narrowly escaped such a fate at the hands of a muslim mob in Indonesia (what a friendly country!) as a youth. Dont think it cant ha

Im gonna comment here since I was raised in Saudi Arabia, and thus feel like Im an expert on all things pertianing to Muslims and Arabs.
First of all, pretty much eveyone is racist/prejudiced in some way. Its natural & normal, and there are healthy societal reasons for this which have been partially washed away by modernity. Its like our bodys ability to store fat, great in hunter gatherer societys, not so good in the consumer society.
Now, lets get to the Arabs and Muslims. Most Arabs are muslims, but not all, and minority-religion Arabs suffer greatly at the hands of the muslims. I know this first hand from my Christian Arab friends in Egypt, Syria, and elsewhere in the middle east. Calling a Christian Arab a terrorist is like calling a Jew during WWII a Nazi, so watch that one, will ya?
Now about the muslims. Islam does not include notions like freedom of religion, or pretty much almost any freedom we take for granted in the west. I advise:Love the p

"There can't be too many racist tools like that going around are there?"
I was in Nashville (Opryland) for a gig a week ago. One of our crew is a young black guy. Quiet, friendly and works hard like the rest of the crew. He`s new and this is the first time I met him but his older brother was on the crew for a while before going freelance and they are very nice guys. I was told they were in a sportsbar in Opryland and this new guy suddenly left for a while. When he returned, one of the other guys on the crew asked him why he disappeared for a while. He said a couple of women sitting nearby were saying really racist things and he felt he had to leave for a while. Can you imagine being him, a nice, hard-working guy trying to enjoy some time off and having to listen to that crap?! Wish I had been there and had the guts to go over to those b!tches and said something. Hope I have the guts to do it.
