but I have a dumb question, what is 'Bowling an Ozzie`?
I`m guessing that it`s a reference to throwing the ball into the wicket of an Australian batsman in a cricket match (which ends that batsman`s game). The Australian national cricket team is noted for consistently being very good and they`ve been the main rivals of the English national cricket team for many a year, so a player from either country would probably be particularly pleased to bowl out a player from the other country.
The closest parallel in the USA would be a pitcher from a top level baseball team beating a batter from a rival top level baseball team by showing superior skill at the game...I think. I know almost nothing about baseball. Can a pitcher do that - pitch in such a way that the batter is deemed to be beaten and must stop batting with no further score in that game?
