I love tipping. It makes me happy to reward people who've served me. I don`t care if it`s their job, I don`t care if people in other countries don`t do it. It`s good karma. If you`re that obsessed with hanging on to your money, eat at home.
If servers were paid minimum wage without tips, no one worth a damn would do it for a living. Tipping allows skilled professional servers to earn a living the restaurant owner could NEVER afford to pay them. It`s not rocket science.

Uhh, it's because MrOrange, that most bosses don`t follow around all of their employees all the time every day and so a lot of their mistakes can be missed.... if the customer doesn`t pass on their problems/experiences the boss is not going to know, not going to know to deal with that employee. Don`t you ever wonder why there are those suggestion/comment boxes in businesses? This is what they`re for :)

tipping isn't mandatory, first of all. secondly, the reason servers get paid $2.13 an hour, and thus rely on tips, is so cheap idiots like yall can enjoy a $10 dollar steak that would cost three times as much in europe. quit ya bitchin and get over it. just leave a tip.
