Dear Charlotte S. The French actually "fought" Germany for about 30 seconds before they started to surrender and then collaborate, pointing out where Jews where and joining the Vichy police. Read a history book darling.

The French are beneath contempt and wrong on every subject. Vichy, The Rainbow Warrior, Iraq, the EU - you name it. They are cowards and selfish. I would cheerfully execute a terrorist bomber but at least they believe in something and have the courage to do something about it. This is an alien concept in France.

What a load of crap! No amount of US "French bashing" could ever come close to rabid and ingrained and irrational anti-Americanism that goes on in France. And no...this hasn't just been over the Iraq thing. This has been going on for decades.

I lived there. I am Canadian. I can tell you that the daily, stupid hate that spewed out of the TVs, the radios, the newspapers and the peoples mouths was gross and tiresome.

And yes...by and large, the French are WAY more rude than Americans....sorry!"
