>>>Insurance is run by fraudsters who pay out a certain percentage of claims to keep the public confidence.<<<

But insurance is a sharing of risk. What we have now is a sharing of costs, in effect we have just added a middle man that has NO real interest in our health just our dollars. Get rid of payments, communication, contracts, or any other form of contact between insurers and healthcare companies and watch cost come down.

The insurance through my husbands employer is "nothing is covered up to 1800 dollars a year and after the 1800 dollars is met everything is covered 100%"

Now that's great for some major thing that happens, it will only cost us $1800 dollars, but I can`t go to the doctors for less major things.

That odd spot growing on your side that is a funny color and shape? Well- hope it`s nothing because we can`t afford the 130 dollars to have it seen and then the hundreds more if they biopsy it.

My ear is starting to throb and swish- I`ll just have to deal with it because it`s 130 dollars JUST TO WALK IN THE OFFICE, then the prescription.

You THINK you might have broken your shoulder? Well you can`t go get that looked at! Are you crazy!? X-Rays will break our bank!

Inhaler? Just stop running and exercising so you hopefully wont need it.

WILL THIS CHANGE FOR ME?? OR GET WORSE?

Obamacare GETS RID OF "catastrophic coverage" iirc...

1,000s will suffer under Obamacare, so that 2-3 have better coverage?

Some States have individual costs rising by 150%...

100,000+ will LOSE their coverage because they only work 30 hours now...

It's a stuttering clusterfork of a TAX. Yes a TAX not a "reform bill" FFS!

And Pizza is a terrible analogy...

Being born is a "pre-existing health condition".

SO if the guy only had tinnitus and tendonitis maybe he didn't need health insurance. For quite a few years I paid cash and didn`t have any problem with it. It wasn`t crazy expensive if it`s a simple illness. People got good healthcare without ct scans and mri scans and lots of other expensive tech.
