Could we stop using the term "Yank" to describe all Americans? Yankees are from a very specific part of the country. Ask anyone in the world what a Yankee is, and they'll tell you it`s an American.
Ask an American what a Yankee is, and they`ll tell you it`s someone from the north.
Ask a northerner what a Yankee is, and they`ll tell you it`s someone from the northeast.
Ask a northeasterner what a Yankee is, and they`ll tell you it`s someone from New England.
Ask a New Englander what a Yankee is, and they`ll tell you it`s someone from Connecticut.
Ask someone from Connecticut what a Yankee is, and they`ll tell you it`s someone who eats pie for breakfast.

People always want to bad mouth our health care system. I have a quick story as to why I think it's fine. My wife had surgery a few years back for a tracheal stenosis. She was talking to a few people online about what she should expect from the surgery. There was a guy from India having the same exact surgery as her. She had her surgery done and there was a 6" incision in her throat. A couple years later she has no real recognizable scar. The man from India had an incision from ear to ear and all the way down his chest. He has a huge gnarly scar. Moral of the story...All the good doctors in the world come to America because they can charge an arm and a leg. The surgery cost more than our house, but it was covered so no money out of pocket.
