@CrakrJak and MeGrendel, Will you guys stop the political bullsh*t already? It would have been blamed on whomever was in office. The point of the post is the stupidity of blaming Obama even though it happened before he was President. If you must blame someone, why not God. I don't believe in him but so many of you believe he`s all powerful, after all. I see this crap all the time...something goes right and it`s, "Thank God!", but something goes wrong and it`s, "That S.O.B. Obama (or Bush, or Clinton, or Reagan, etc.)! It`s damned nauseating.

Oh good, pile on the hate! That's exactly what we need. It`s the leftys whose #1 priority at the time was to make certain to "blame Bush" first. Then we`ll deal with this disaster maybe in a few more years.

I am so tired of hearing all the blame gaming for the slow government response to this, that, and the other thing. Everyone just accept that government is inept and will never waste an opportunity to make any problem worse than it is at the start and everything will make a lot more sense. I heard it is the law that in order to serve as a public official at any level requires one half of your brain to be removed. No wait, That was hitchiker's guide, sorry.

Why would anyone say it was Obama's fault? @mesovortex: The question is flawed: "Federal Response" and asks about Presidents? Is FEMA`s mistakes the `fault` of the PotUS? >>Why Obama? Because the "problems" are ongoing! They didn`t suddenly end when Bush left office. >>So are CURRENT problems Bush`s fault? He left office 4 years ago! >>Are ANY of the problems the "PotUS`s" fault? Or the fault of bureaucrats?
Thus: Since the question has no specific time? It`s a really crappy one! It`s hard to pin blame on one Prez or the other, so "I don`t know" is actually the best of the bad possible answers.
