@McTabbin
I think you're taking it a little too seriously. I do Jiu Jitsu, and I love it. S/hit`s gonna happen no matter where you go. S/hit can happen when you cross the street. "All worth it to go to the grocery store? I think not."
It`s horrible that it happened, but he`s recovering and all ready talking about getting back into training. It`s absolutely terrible that this happened but I`m definitely not going to stop training, and apparently neither is he.

So this was too heart-wrenching for me to believe it could possibly end like that for him.... SOOOO.. I did some research.. and found...This... It is in Portuguese so I had to use google translate. "The young Gabriel Diniz, who had lost the movement of the arms and legs after a stroke suffered during the Espírito Santo State Championship Jiu Jitsu, showed a significant evolution in its clinical. On Wednesday he returned to have sensitivity in the lower and move your shoulders. Given the improvement, Gabriel already talking about returning to training." lol@google translate.. but yea... he's recovering.. YAYY!!!!! HAPPY FEELS!

That's brutual the way the vertebrate snapped upon the back of the head being slammed into the floor; severing the nerves down to the rest of the body.

No more movement, no more sexual urges, just paralyzed from neck down. All worth it to win one trinket of a medal? I think not.
