@Byfield: A teratoma is not an absorbed twin....they are tumors, not fetuses. That's caused a lot of issues with ethics over the years because people misunderstand what they are and think it`s like having a miscarriage, and thus removing them is an abortion. But they never could have been human, and they are not fertilized. They`re just really weird, freaky tumors in their creepiest form. Also, back-in-the-day, people thought someone who had one must be a witch (in thinking it was a demonic baby of some sort), so they`d kill them because of it.

Teratomas? Yeah, its drating freaky. The worst bit is, a teratoma is sometimes an absorbed twin, so it can have different coloured hair to you and has different DNA. Spooky.

'some tumors grow teeth and hair`
i think there`s only one that does that and its called a dermoid tumor. quite facinating, actually. i did a record on just one in 30+ years and it had teeth, hair, a partial jaw, and eyeball components, and lots of other stuff that i can`t remember right now. but it had been allowed to grow HUGELY. usually these are caught quite small. this poor girl thought she had cancer and just put off going to the doctor until the abdominal pain was unbearable. when they operated they found this great big dermoid....
