Squrlz - It appears it is you who was misinformed... Your video claims that those who say Alarmists claiming global cooling was pushed in the 70's were what? Oh yea, that the claim was a "crock" - Then goes on to provide absolutely no evidence for such rhetoric... Yet I took you up on your challenge (10 minute challenge) and was able to locate more than 100 articles, magazine covers, and news segments warning of the coming "ICE AGE" in the 70`s... I only posted about 1/3 of what I found due to each post far exceeding 1000 characters. But you get the idea. I can also point you to TIMES Magazine articles and covers from the early 1930`s discussing predictions that within a decade temperatures would be so high, that crop failure was almost certain, and global anarchy along with societal break-down... In other words, the Alarmists have been at this game for a long time. (Yep, even in the 1930`s they were showing their little charts too!)

Actually Squrlz - You continue proving me correct, and you as the alarmist! Your straw man argument is laughable at best, and sad at the least. See, I made my point quite clear, and that point was that CLIMATE CHANGE is NATURAL - And that in the 70's there was plenty of media warning of a coming Ice Age. You claimed this was not the case, yet I posted dozens of articles, magazines, and newspapers that claimed this very thing... Now you have nothing to say other than insult the list - Yet the list is quite legit - So your lack of a coherent reply shall be taken as a concession.
Heck, even this very thread you`re posting in is a sensationalist article scoffed at by the very scientists stationed near the North Pole! lol Yet you have nothing to say about this either? Typical...

Just 30 seconds on any credible blog shows that this is a deliberately misleading claim: "FALSE: Holy moly, the icy North Pole is now a lake, declares The Huffington Post and some other news outlets, fueled by scientific photos like these from the North Pole Environmental Observatory that are drawing buzz. You may be left with the impression that Santa is now snorkeling in what seems to be open waters that stretch as far as the eye can see.
What the photos really show
Despite headlines to the contrary, "you don't want to call them lakes. They`re melt ponds," says researcher Mike Steele, principal investigator for the Polar Science Center at the University of Washington, by email.
What you see in the photos (and webcam No. 2 here) is one of the shallow ponds that form every summer and freeze later. It looks eerie because a wide-angle, fish-eye lens makes that particular pond look bigger than it is."

Funny that even if every person on the planet stopped driving permanently, and every manufacturing plant in the world shut down - We STILL would have less than a fraction of 1% impact on "global warming" - Perhaps because "global warming" (Climate change) is natural, not man-made... Or does someone here who believes man-kind is causing global warming want to explain to me how other planets in the solar system also experiencing "warming" is being caused by us? lol - Ridiculous. Funny, in the 70's and 80`s the same yahoo`s screaming "Warming" were warning we were doomed and on track for another ice age in 20 years due to pollution! Nice 180 ya`ll did there! ;)
