Lessen learned: Let the people with the true science degrees run everything. Bad idea. I've know a number of Ph.D. physicists, engineers, and chemists who couldn`t run a lemonade stand. They`re brilliant in their fields, but some of them can barely manage to dress themselves. I`ve been in organizations where all the managers were scientists and engineers, and believe me, it doesn`t work the way you would imagine.
If I had to pick government leaders from an identifiable group, I would pick self-made millionaires from manufacturing businesses.
