I hear a new, recurring segment:
"Mexico, this is why you're fat"

And the jubilant tone of the article is somewhat misplaced. USA didn`t do anything, they stayed obese. It is Mexico who became fatter. So, nice try, Yanks!

God I wish they would do away with the BMI index. According to that wacked out scale I am obese but i've lifted heavily and worked out for a very very long time (more than I care to admit) and while I have put on some pounds as i`ve aged I am far from fat. I have pretty broad shoulders and a lot of muscle but when using my weight and height on the BMI chart I come out as obese. What kills me is doctors know this. They will tell you this themselves but for some reason we stick to it.

@Cajun247 and @CodeJockey: At least 20% and some say 1/3rd of the world's food supply is eaten by rats and mice each year as well.

@CodeJockey:

I'd thought it be a lot lower though, course presumptions tend be off don`t they?
