I took the super VIP tour at Warner Bros. studios in LA and got to go in a Foley room and walk around. Was cool seeing all the random stuff they use to make different sounds. They had big square areas bordered off, one had a dirt floor, another sand, another with leaves, another wood floor etc. And they had all sorts of different chairs and furniture that would sound different dragged across the floor. A ton of different shoes. All sorts of stuff. Then a big screen hanging on a wall so they could watch the movie while they made the sounds. Was a cool tour. PLUS, I ate lunch at a table next to George Clooney and waved at John Stamos when we went through the ER set. He waved back. Swoooonnn!!!!

I spent years working professional audio...mostly live sound. I've always wanted to Foley work. Heck, anything A for V related would be awesome. That is a very tough nut to crack tho. Those jobs are usually taken by audio engineers with decades of experiance
