@tedgp Unless those headphones are bulletproof, I still think the fact the bullet had two collisions prior to hitting him had a much higher impact in saving his life. From the looks of it he fired a sniper rifle (beretta maybe which is anti-material the thing is designed to go through armor so i think it can take on headphones). The bullets in most snipers travel faster than the speed of sound. But the first collision was enough to bring the bullet to subsonic levels (evident by the fact that you hear the bullet before it hits). the first collision deforming and slowing the bullet to subsonic levels and the second collision slowing it even more and deforming it more might have more of an impact than the headphones designed to be sound proof. That is not to say the headphones didnt help. Just not as much as gravity did.
