Also, isn't it more proper to say "...a hooker WHO was still alive"? Seems like "that" should be used for things, not people.

Rich people on reality shows are the worst at this. They think they sound smart when they ALWAYS use "so and so and I" when it usually should be "so and so and ME". Of course, there's always the conflict when you know how some phrases should be said but when you say it correctly, it makes you sound pretentious. Social dilemma.
