There are very few animals that can pass Gallup Jr.'s mirror test. There`s a variation of the test for dogs that uses yellow snow (not kidding) since dog`s primary sense is smell, not sight. Dogs, cats, neither knows it`s him/herself in the mirror.
The most understated phenomenon of the mirror test is the exact moment when an animal realizes it`s own reflection, because at that precise moment we know exactly what the animal is thinking. Kind of inspiring when you think about it.

It takes a smart animal like a crow to figure out about mirrors. I swear I saw a blonde that couldn't figure it out till someone told her to follow the woman in the mirror when applying lipstick.
