I had to take a typing test at work a while back and the paper we typed from had a bunch of misspellings, if you corrected them they counted off your score, type what you see.

though I suppose this one could have been on purpose. There are trick questions like this all the time. The screw ups I encountered were like misspellings of words, mistyped equations, and nonsensical grammar.

I encountered stuff like this all the time when I was tutoring. It was terrible. The kids were always really confused by their homework because sometimes the screw up wasn't as obvious as this. Half the time was spent proof-reading the homework sheets before letting the kids work on them.

Also, I am a potato.
