to sleepyhallow: your comment doesn't make sense. If the robbers wanted to take hostages they would have from just done that from the beginning. just because there car went missing doesn`t mean their first thought is to run back inside the store and take hostages? Wtf man give the guy a break if you`ve never been in a situation like that then you would have NO idea what the guy was feeling at the time and have no reason to judge negatively. he didn`t risk anybody`s lives any more than they were already at risk through my eyes,so maybe i`m just a moron according to you as well.

And if after finding their car missing, what if the armed robbers had gone back into the restaurant and taken everyone hostage at gunpoint?

All because this one moron wanted to play "hero".

The whole effing point of company policy is to insure the safety of the employees and patrons. No ones life is worth the few bucks in the till.

This asshat needs to be fired immediately for risking the lives of everyone else!

"typical" ? what? are you seriously going to hold that against them?
See it this way: A loved family member of yours fights off brings him/herself in danger just in order to stop a robbery that is going to be compensated for by the insurance anyways.. what do you do? Of course you tell them to just hand over the money and be safe...

People like you is why we can't have nice things.. whatever the government or police do or say.. you find something to try and make them the bad people.
