"You can thank George W. Bush and his "Patriot"Act. The constitution has been outlawed."

We had it here on a smaller scale with the government introducing new terrorist laws which then got abused by local councils so they that could spy on the general public to find the serious criminals who were putting their recycling bins out on the wrong days, or snoop on them to see if they were sending their children to schoolsl outside of their catchment area.

And now because of the terror-related murder of one of our soldiers on the streets of London, our home secretary is trying to use the incident to push through even more laws that allow the state to retain EVERYONE's internet traffic to be searched at will.

Of the three latest Obama scandals, this is the least offensive as far as the seriousness of the underlying crime, but it may be the most significant in terms of how it affects Obama. It may be that this is what opens the eyes of the MSM to the fact that Obama is nothing but a bumbling thug. Once they realize that, we MIGHT get some honest reporting on all the other far more serious scandals.

"Nobody cares because Obama is cool."

Actually, of all the "scandals" that have come out, this is the one that actually pisses me off. The problem is that the Republicans have no credibility on it. If they did, they might have worked to roll back the powers they gave the executive branch to actually do this kind of thing.
