As for soup vs. chili, just simmer it down for longer and gets thicker and thicker, yeah? The problem there is you'll cook out all the tomato flavor. This is why people put ketchup in chili. For the record, ketchup does not have one single ingredient that doesn`t belong in chili -- water, tomato paste, vinegar, sugar, onion, and garlic. The proportions are not the same, but it will definitely improve the taste of over-cooked chili.
It wouldn`t help this clusterf***, though. He pretty much ruined it with that bell pepper.

a real man has no clue how to even turn on the stove and would just get his wife to make it for him while the man drank beer and thought about how much his job sucked.
