Goes to show how much you know about railroads OldOllie. When they re-deck bridges and rebuild street level crossings it is paid for by the Dept. of Transportation. They even pay a state inspector to stand around with his hands in his pockets to watch. Insurance might cover this but I doubt it.

The cameraman cheers, like he's not a taxpayer who will be assuming his portion of the bill...? Railroad bridges are not publicly owned. The railroad company (or their insurance company) is going to have to pay for this.

WOW! I've got family that lives in Lamapasas. They didn`t say anything about this. If it was on the Colorado, That had to of been around Lometa and San Saba. That fire must have been hotter than hell with those railroad ties soaked in that creosote.
